Invitation for Bids – Rebidding 1. The Government of Nepal (GoN) has received a loan/grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Kathmandu Sustainable Urban Transport Project (KSUTP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. The Traffic Police Surveillance Vehicles will be equipped with Breathalyzer, CCTV camera system, Speed radar gun, laptop, PTZ CCTV camera, GPS facility, radio communicating set, Siren etc as specified and duly configured in the vehicle as stated in contract. The Traffic Police Surveillance Vehicles will be delivered at Metropolitan Traffic Police division Office, Baggikhana Ramshah Path, Kathmandu within 30 weeks from the date of signing the contract. The procurement also includes a short term service of training for Operators as well. 3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One- Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries. 4. The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Department of Roads has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB. 2. The Department Of Roads, Project (ADB) Directorate, Bishalnagar, Kathmandu (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of upgrading of road, drainage and off-road structures of Dolakha – Singati Road from Km 0+000 to Km 34+490 at Dolakha district, Nepal with earthwork, pavement, bituminous, masonry, concrete and road safety works, etc (“the Works”). 3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single - Stage: Two - Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. Key experience requirement: a) Contract of similar size and nature: Two (2) contracts of similar nature to the proposed works with the value of more than NRs 779 Million or equivalent that have been successfully or substantially completed within the last Ten (10) years. b) Construction experience in key activities: Construction of road with bituminous surfacing works of 151,400 Sq m completed within the last Five (5) years. Key financial requirement: a) Minimum average annual construction turnover of NRs 973 Million or equivalent within the last Five (5) years. b) Financial resources to meet the current contract commitments and the requirements for the subject Contract of NRs. 163 Million or equivalent.
