The British Council is looking to appoint suppliers to provide internship placements for UK students in China of between 1 to 3 months in duration. As part of a project supporting the outward mobility of UK students to China, the British Council China will be providing funding for a fixed number of students in the form of internship scholarships. Consulting Service For Project Management Support The People's Republic of China has receivedfinancing in the amount of USD 100 million equivalent from the World Bank towards the cost of the Hubei Jingzhou Historic TownConservation Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The project will include the following components: Component A: Cultural heritage conservation and tourism servicesimprovement; Component B: Water environment improvement; Component C: Transport improvement; and Component D: Assistance to projectmanagement and capacity building. Consulting services include project management and construction management during the projectimplementation. Consulting services ("the Services) include: consulting company will provide services for project management, procurementmanagement, construction management, contract management, financial management, and training fortheimplementation of the project. The planned duration of the services is expected from March 2016 to December 2021, and a total inputis expected to be 137 person-months. The Project Management Office for World Bank Loan Projects of Jingzhounow invites eligible consulting firms to express theirinterest of providing the services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they are fully qualifiedfor the assignment (suchas the brochures of firm introduction, related similar experiences, overall staff capacity, etc.).Consulting company should complete at least one of the projects that are similar to the complex levels of the internationalfinancial institutions lending program including cultural heritage conservation, or city infrastructure and environmentalprotection projects in the past three years (2012-2015). Project content includes cultural heritage, infrastructure, environment,traffic management, road, water resources and sewage management. Consulting company should have experience on providing consultingservices for urban infrastructure, environmental improvement and cultural heritage conservation, etc., in China or other developingcountries.
