The Government seeks to appoint a reputable independent advisor with relevant expertise to work in 2 phases. Phase I will include developing a plan with detailed intermediate steps and timings for disposing of the identified land assets, or identifying other ways to raise capital through them, and their valuation, analysis and suggestions for improving the commercial viability and attractiveness. Phase II will include the preparation of a study presenting the optimal way of administering, exploiting and developing the prospects of State immovable property assets within the Republic and embassies abroad, including inter alia, State-owned immovable property assets, immovable property rented by the State, State immovable property assets leased to third parties and State immovable property assets that have not yet been developed or exploited (the Study). The Study should safeguard value for money as well as the public interest.
