The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335931 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-12-14 17:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Grand Coulee, WA 99133 The DOI BOR Grand Coulee Power Office requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Cable, 16 AWG, 37 Conductor, 7 Strand, 600 Volts, UL Type TC per Standard 1277 for Tray Cables, Conductors shall be stranded copper, concentric, 7 strands, Conductor insulation shall be: 90? C maximum operating temperature, Suitable for use in dry and wet locations, Flame-retardant, Oil-resistant, Thermoplastic XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene), PVC is not acceptable. Jacket shall be: Black, Sunlight-resistant, Oil-resistant, Flame-retardant, Thermoplastic CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene), Jacket shall include a rip cord to facilitate stripping, PVC is not acceptable. Overall Shield shall be: Option A) aluminum-polymer tape providing 100% coverage with a stranded copper 20 AWG drain wire, Option B) copper tape providing 100% coverage with a stranded copper drain wire, Option C) copper braid with a minimum of 85% coverage, with an overall separator over the conductor, A corrugated shield is not acceptable. Cable shall be identified by means of surface ink printing indicating manufacturer, number of conductors, size, voltage rating, and required UL information and sequential footage marking at least every 5 feet, Color code ICEA Method 1, Table E1 (K-1) as identified by attached chart, 3,000 feet Transformer Cable required, in 6 reels of 500 feet each, 37C 16 AWG, or equal., 3000, FT; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, DOI BOR Grand Coulee Power Office intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
