Research Councils UK is the partnership of the UK's 7 Research Councils, which invest in research covering the full spectrum of academic disciplines.

As of 04/18, the RCUK will be brought together under a new umbrella organisation, UK Research and Innovation, along with Innovate UK and Research England. These 9 councils will operate within their distinct remits whilst being under UKRI.
