PROCUREMENT OF WORKS:RESETTLEMENT OF VILLAGE CHOOCHANG & CONSTRUCTION OF SHATIAL MUSEUM

This Invitationfor Bids follows the General Procurement Notice forthis Project thatappeared in UN Development Business online (UNDB online); Bank's external website on 13th November,2013; Local Newspapers and on WAPDA web site on 21st November, 2013.
The Governmentof Islamic Republic of Pakistan hasreceived a credit from International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Dasu Hydropower Stage-I Project and itintends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for ICB No. Dasu-RV, Resettlement of VillageChoochang & Construction of Shatial Museum. The Pakistan Water andPowerDevelopment Authority (The Employer) now, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following work based onpost-qualification process:
ICB NO.DASU-RV-RESETTLEMENT OF VILLAGE CHOOCHANG & CONSTRUCTION OF SHATIAL MUSEUM
Resettlement of Village Choochang (1, 2 & 3)includes, earth work, terracing, levelling, residential plotting for the resettled village sites, construction of access roads,laying of water supply and sewerage pipelines and construction of public amenities (like schools, mosque, cattle sheds andgraveyards) with internal electrification work.
Construction of Shatial Museum includes, fencing aroundthe Archeological site, construction of residential building, provision of road and parkingfacilities, internal provision of publichealth facilities, internal electrification work and development of external water supply and seweragesystem.
Bidding will be conducted through the ICB procedures asspecified in the World Bank's guidelines. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the BiddingDocument at the address given below during office hours. A complete set of the Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by theinterested eligible bidders on submission of awritten application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee ofPak Rs. 2,000/- or in US$ 20 for mailing within Pakistanfor the above contract. The document will be sent by mail to an addressoutside Pakistan on payment of a non-refundable fee of Pak Rs 3,000/- or in US$ 30 for the above contract. The method of paymentwill be through a bank pay order or demand draft in favor of The General Manager/Project Director, Dasu Hydropower Project,WAPDA.
Bids should besubmitted in sealed envelopes, delivered tothe WAPDA Auditorium, Wapda House, Mall Road, Lahore by September 02, 2015 up to 1100 hours andmust be accompanied by a BidSecurity in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total Bid Price in currency of bid in the form of unconditional BankGuarantee.
