The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations (ECLAC) is seeking for companies with local representation in Chile, with at leaset 3 years of experience, with technical and financial capacity to participate in the bidding process for construction of the Fire Protection Network into the ECLAC compound. 1. Purpose of the contract 1.1. ECLAC requires from the contractor the implementation of the “Refurbishment of ECLAC’s core third floor” located on the main building inside ECLAC compound. The project includes demolition and interior refurbishment without structural commitment, including civil Works, window replacement, finishes and installations. 1.2. The work area is approximately 630 m2. 1.3. This request includes, but is not limited, to the provision, implementation and commissioning of the following: •Dismantling and demolition works •Civil works and finishes •Sanitary works •Window installing •Dry wall construction •Construction of onsite furniture •Interior glass wall installing •Electrical and low voltage connections •Installing of pavements and coverings •Installing of ceilings •Installing of lamps 1.4 ECLAC will name a Coordinator and Technical inspector who, with the architects, will supervise over the contractor, and will review and certify if the work done by the contractor is according to the present contract.
