CalMac Ferries Limited who operates in the Western Isles of Scotland is looking to procure a modern EPOS Retail and Hospitality system from a suitable supplier able to install and maintain approximately 34 till systems and a centralised management system on-board 14 ferries. Requirements of the EPOS system include a fully integrated card payment system, a fully integrated stock management system and the ability to function offline for instances where vessels sail out of communications range.

Swipe card reader (loyalty options);

Magnetic Dallas key reader (staff authorisations);

Receipt printer;

Customer display.

ITSO supported integrated PED (Pin Entry Device for cards):

Per vessel:

3D Omni directional bar code scanner (fixed position master store room);

Hand-held ordering / stock control tablet with software;

Mobile wireless bar code scanner (suitable for large deliveries at port and anywhere on vessel);

Bar-code printer;

Dallas keys (average 30X per vessel).
