The aim of the competition is to procure a property developer for the demolition of an existing building, engineering design services for and construction of a new school for 1st-10th years and a community centre in an interaction contract.

There will be a separate sub-project for the demolition of the existing secondary school, community centre and swimming pool, total approx. 3 500 m2. A separate environmental clearance report is being prepared. We would like a stage-by-stage demolition, so that parts of the building with classrooms can be kept in the construction period. We would like the existing transformer station to be moved and envisage, therefore, that the current transformer building and air raid shelter can be demolished and be included as a part of the demolition project.
The new building is programmed to approx. 1 500 m2 gross area and it shall include, amongst other things, a community centre. The new building shall be connected to the current Atrå primary school, which was completed in 2011 and the existing before-and-after-school care building, so that the new site appears as a whole and integrated school for 1st-10th years. We would like inside access to the before-and-after-school care building and access under a roof to the sports hall. The functions in the current building can be changed, e.g. there is a desire to move the before-and-after-school care closer to the location of the 1st-4th years of primary school.The chosen implementation model for the project is interaction for a turnkey contract.

Section IV: Procedure
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: The Contracting Authority intends to invite up to 5 tenderers who will be given the opportunity to submit a tender, as long as a sufficient number of qualified tenderers register. If the number of qualified tenderers exceeds the limit, the tenderers who best meet the requirements of technical and professional qualification will be selected.
