In section 1.2), it is stated that this contract involves a joint procurement. This contract is not a joint procurement, it is a Central Purchasing Body Contract operated by Business Services Organisation, PaLS on behalf of the participants listed in I.1). The Contracting Authorities have identified the Most Economically Advantageous Tenders (MEAT) on the basis of the Best Price/Quality submission. Compliance with all elements of the specification and all other requirements as listed in the tender documentation has been demonstrated. The total value of this contract as per the Contract Notice 2016/S 128-229445 excluding VAT was 1 400 000 GBP. This figure relates to the initial two year framework period only. The total figure including the option to extend up to 24 months is 2 800 000 GBP as stated in the procurement documents. This total includes contingency. This figure will be used in the assessment of issues relating to materiality should they arise during the Contract Period.
