BEBCMAT is a group of 3 separate schools comprising St Mary's Catholic Academy (secondary school), Christ The King Catholic Academy (primary school) and St Cuthbert's Catholic Academy (primary school) all in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK. Tenderers are invited to submit proposals to provide a Nil-Cost catering service across the 3 schools. The contract will commence in April 2017.

Nil-Cost catering contract across 3 schools for a period of 3 years (with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years). Breakfast/break/lunch/after-school club services for 3 schools plus hospitality/meetings catering as required. Total pupil numbers approx. 1 600. Schools require a maximisation of the catering facilities and an enhanced dining experience for both staff and pupils. There is an opportunity to consider investment proposals which can be used to update/improve the current facilities.

Companies must be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in the sector and currently operate within a 50-mile radius of the location. Short-listing for Invitation to Tender will be subject to information provided in the PQQ response, and will include financial status and suitable references plus demonstration of adherence to required Government and European directives for provision of school meals and experience and expertise in the sector.
