The task is handled by two departments: DeMars Development Department and DeMars Operation and Maintenance Department. Operation and maintenance of the system is outsourced to external system responsible supplier. This range can be divided into two main area: DeMars Development Department Planning Section has responsibility for managing the following tasks for which they are sought after consultants must provide assistance: 1) the development and coordination of solution architecture for DeMars (SAP ECC) applications and related integrated SAP solutions / systems, and integration with external systems 2) To establish and maintain roadmap for development DeMars (both ECC and BI) 3) Controlling and coordination between implementation projects, including loose-ing architecture, resources etc. 4) Providing resources to DeMars projects, including project managers 5) Coordination between development and maintenance of DeMars in collaboration with De-Mars Operation and Maintenance Section 6) Development processes related to implementation projects and solution architecture, as well as documentation. Defence has already and will in the next year launch a number of projects for the development of existing solutions and implementation of new SAP-based solutions for the optimization of system support of the Defence business processes. Projects led by a designated project manager from the business area, there is the overall responsibility for the project with responsibility to the project's steering committee. The project manager is thus responsible for IT supplies provided by outside suppliers, including the system responsible supplier. The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of IT-related supplies, works in close cooperation with and referring ultimately to the business of the designated project. The role of project, including responsibility for the delivery of IT-related supplies, in relation to the development of DeMars, covering the areas of HR, finance, logistics, establishment, BI and the technical platform, and integration with external systems. The sought-after consultants must provide assistance for project management of IT supplies for a business project, and, in this context assist with the provision of the following tasks: 1) Planning for and ensure that the IT-related supplies delivered on time and in agreed quality 2) Contribute to the preparation of business decision basis for projects, including through the involvement of external suppliers 3) Ensuring documentation of solutions 4) Management of resources including staff from Defence IT Informatics Service and external suppliers as well as development and test environments 5) Transfer of project the operation and contribute to the successful deployment.
