The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Corfe Hills School.
The contract being tendered is for a 5 year duration from 1.8.2016.
The provision will cover all catering services within the school, which currently includes: breakfast, mid-morning break and lunch. There may be an opportunity to expand this to provide hospitality for school events.
Corfe Hills School expects the successful contractor to be committed to compliance with the School Food Plan, using fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients prepared on site. Commitment to other school initiatives and Government policies that are relevant to catering is also required.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
There are currently 930 students in Years 9 - 11 and 400 in the 6th Form but the capacity of the school is 1 625 and it is anticipated that numbers will rise towards this level during the period of the contract. There are approximately 200 staff on site each day.
The School is continually seeking ways to improve and develop the social environment for students and staff, to give them the catering and dining facilities they deserve and need to support their learning and teaching. The objective is to increase take up of school meals which will be encouraged through cashless payment methods, reduced queuing and increased dining capacity.
