Abstract NHS England's Yorkshire and Humber Area Team proposes to commission an Alternative Provider Medical Services contract, currently delivered at Lundwood and Highgate Medical Practices in Barnsley.The aim of the service is to deliver essential, additional and enhanced services to registered patients from a premises located at Lundwood and Highgate Medical Practices.Should this proceed to a procurement it is envisaged the tender documentation will be issued before the end of March 2015.The contracting authority will develop the service model to incorporate the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, specifically. How what is proposed to be procured might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the relevant area. (Area is the geographic area for which the procurement is taking place). How, in conducting the process of procurement, it might act with a view to securing the improvement.Registering Interest: The North of England Commissioning Support Service (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and will run this expressions of interest process for and on behalf of NHS England's Yorkshire and Humber, the contracting authority. NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to gather expressions of interest. Therefore, all communications will be conducted via the In-Tend portal, https://in-tendhost.co.uk/necsIt is free to register on the portal, which can be accessed at any time. A dedicated helpdesk is available should potential providers have any queries and can be contacted on +44 8442728810 (Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00) or via emailing support@in-tend.co.ukPlease note that this facility allows the provider to express an interest only in delivering this service, it is not a Pre-Qualification Process. |
