Rotherham Borough Council (Adult Care) is inviting tenders from suitably experienced organisations, for the provision of housing related floating support services. Housing related support services will identify a person's/family's needs and risks and help vulnerable people to live independently or move on to independent living, this can include people receiving support to: — set up and maintain their home; — manage safety and security of their accommodation; — maintain their health and well-being; — develop their life skills, such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting skills; — maximise income; — access other services; — get advice and advocacy in connection with housing or tenancy matters; — access education, training and/or employment. Services will also provide specialist support dependent on the nature of the service user group and will have to have knowledge and experience of the differing needs of vulnerable people who are; who are resettling after a period of living without a permanent home i.e. living in temporary accommodation, living with friends or family (Resettlement) or are at risk of losing their home and becoming homeless (Prevention). The services will be available for vulnerable people that are within the boundaries of the Borough of Rotherham only. There will the following services for tender: — Floating support for Offenders/People at Risk of Reoffending; — Floating support for Young Parents and Young Expectant Mothers; — Floating support for People with Mental Health and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder; — Group support and floating support for People with Mental Health and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder; — Floating support for Homelessness; — Floating Support for HIA; — Floating Support for BMER Women Domestic Abuse; — Floating Support for Domestic Abuse.
