The procurement of any services will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The purpose of this PIN is to invite interested parties to take part in preliminary market consultations and to improve our knowledge of the market. The Authority is seeking to establish a framework agreement of suppliers to provide contingency decontamination and related services in the areas of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear contamination (CBRN). The service will include the supply, transport, deployment and implementation of the decontamination and/or related service(s). The potential supplier is required to provide all necessary equipment needed to deliver the services which could include (but are not limited to): raw materials, consumables, protective equipment, detection/monitoring equipment, power generators/fuel, heavy plant and transportation. The framework agreement is separated into 8 Lots: 1 — Chemical sampling and monitoring; 2 — Chemical decontamination; 3 — Chemical waste management and disposal; 4 — Biological sampling; 5 — Biological decontamination; 6 — Biological waste management and disposal; 7 — Radiological and nuclear characterisation, decontamination and waste management; 8 — NAIR (National Arrangements for Incidents involving Radiation) arrangements. This is a notice that a supplier information day will be held at the Etrop Grange Hotel, Manchester http://www.theetropgrangehotel.co.uk/ on 23.6.2015 between 11:00 and 16:00, and will provide an opportunity for potential providers to learn about the framework agreement and the benefits and opportunities it can offer. The estimated planned date for publication of the Contract Notice is August 2015. The Authority wishes to engage with the market in a supplier information day to find out more about the framework agreement and the benefits and opportunities it can offer. A supplier information day will be held for suppliers which express an interest in this PIN on 23.6.2015. To express an interest in attending this supplier information day, please e-mail gds@gds.gsi.gov.uk with the name of your company and the attendees. Please note that we envisage a maximum of 2 attendees per company due to the size of the room. The supplier industry day will be held at the Etrop Grange Hotel, Manchester http://www.theetropgrangehotel.co.uk/ on 23.6.2015 between 11:00 and 16:00. In the interest of planning the event, the deadline for these expressions of interest to attend will be 9.6.2015. The Authority is under no obligation to follow up the supplier information day in any way or with any interested parties. Interested parties will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to this preliminary market consultation and a response to this PIN does not guarantee any invitation to participate in any future public procurement. This PIN notice does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Authority and the Authority is not bound to accept any proposals offered. The Authority is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in the supplier information day. Any procurement of any services by the Authority in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 that the Authority may conduct.
