THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY! Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center, located at 110 Hall Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI is soliciting cost proposals for a licensed Mental Health Consultant to provide services through subcontract agreement for a facility of 200 students, ages 16-24. The minimum requirements are a State of Michigan license, a Master of Social Work degree, responsible work experience work economically disadvantaged populations, verification of educational attainment a synopsis of relevant experience. Services will be provided part-time weekly for 12-15 hours in our wellness clinic area and include: Advice to the Director(s) on mental health issues and programmatic and organizational consultation; integration of mental health center-wide to promote employability and peer and station relationships; develop a protocol for meeting with students individually and in groups as needed, provide staff development on mental health issues; referrals for off-site mental health services; provide for file and document security; oversee mental health standing orders; and provide guidance to the Alcohol and Other Drug Specialist if needed. Responses to this solicitation should include a copy of your current license, and qualifications brief. You may include letters of referral also. Proposals must be received by the Purchasing Specialist no later than October 14, 2015, 5:00 pm COB. Upon viewing this notice, please email lamarr.alice@jobcops.org for a bid form. Your submission will be time and date stamped Job Corps is a national training and employment program administered by the United States Department of Labor to address multiple barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged youth. This subcontract award covers December 1, 2015 through November 30, 2016. Subsequent awards are contingent on continued government funding to MINACT, Incorporated.
