Telephone No. - (902) 496-5261 ( ) Fax No. - (902) 496-5016 E-mail: linda.k.richard@pwgsc.gc.ca The Department of National Defense requires the furnishing of all labour, material, tools, equipment and transportation required for the completed and satisfactory janitorial service as specified herein for CFB Halifax Stadacona Hospital and its satellite clinics. The period of the contract is from August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2017 with three one-year options. There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. Bidders should consult the "Security Requirements for PWGSC Bid Solicitations - Instructions for Bidders" (http://www.twpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/app-acq/lc-pl/lc-pl-eng.html#a13) on the Departmental Standard Procurement Documents website. It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on May 12, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. Please enter at Lorne Terrace off North Street and by the MacDonald Bridge. There is paid parking only. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 0900 on Monday, May 11 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority, linda.k.richard@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered. Full details can be found in the solicitation documents.
