Trade Agreement: NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Automated Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) Environment Canada (EC) Burlington, ON, has requested the supply and delivery of one (1) automated gel permeation chromatography (GPC) system equipped with an autosampler, automatic evaporation module, and data system for the removal of lipids and other high molecular weight interferences from biological or other environmental samples. This sample preparation and clean-up system will be used for contaminant monitoring and surveillance activities by Environment Canada's Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance Division supporting priorities of the Chemicals Management Plan. Primarily, the system will be used to separate lipids from biological extracts which can then be analysed for priority contaminants; however, as a modular system it can be easily expanded and modified to handle many different sample types to accommodate future monitoring and surveillance priorities. Please refer to the Request for Proposal document for the complete details regarding this requirement including the mandatory criteria, evaluation criteria and basis of selection. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
