South Lanarkshire Council are procuring an employee flu vaccination voucher scheme for employees to provide them with protection against the flu virus. The Contract Period will be for an initial term of 1 year (with an optional extension of up to 2 years in any increment) at the Council’s discretion, subject to satisfactory performance and available funding. The service is required throughout the UK in all the major cities. The aim of this contract is to provide a modern, evidence based travel health service that provides officers and families with travel health advice, travel vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis to allow them to live and travel overseas as safely as possible.

Derbyshire County Council are seeking expressions of interest from pharmacies to provide in pharmacy seasonal flu vaccination, during the period of (1st September to 31st January) for 3 years. Council employees who will be eligible for vaccination are front line employees providing direct care in Adult Care, Children’s Services or to the Council’s foster carers. There are just over 5000 eligible front line employees located across the geographical area of Derbyshire (excluding Derby City) who may take up the offer of being vaccinated at their choice of pharmacy.

The vaccination is to be administered to employees and foster carers who do not have any contraindications, under a private Patient Group Direction (PGD) (set up by the pharmacy contractor) or via a private prescription from a pharmacist independent prescriber.

North of England Commissioning Support is working for and on behalf of NHS England North (Yorkshire and the Humber) (the Contracting Authority) who wish to commission a 5-19 Years Vaccination and Immunisation Service for the City of York Local Authority Area. The Contract Term will be for 18 months with a maximum price per vaccination of 10.00 GBP. The contract term reflects the opportunity for NHS England to review wider procurement (s) options across North Yorkshire & York as similar contracts reach the end of their term. Based on a total population of approximately 7,258 and achievement of the KPIs within the service specification, the maximum contract value for the duration of the contract is 102,315 GBP. The basic principles that mirror that of the Open Procurement route will be followed for this procurement to test the capacity, capability, and technical competence of tenderers in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended). Regulation 120 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provides for a temporary exemption and saving for certain NHS procurements.
