Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment to install a backup water supply at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. Work includes but not limited to constructing an underground water storage tank of not less than 132,000 gallon capacity, together with necessary piping, valves, pumps and an above ground pump house building of approximately 400 SF. The reinforced concrete storage tank lid shall be capable of supporting truck traffic and/or vehicle parking together with any imposed soil and pavement over burden. The contractor shall locate all existing utilities in the project vicinity before sizing, configuring and locating the underground water storage tank, so as to avoid utility conflicts to the greatest extent possible. The system construction will also include necessary electrical service, interior and exterior lighting, and a monitoring connection to the existing Direct Digital Control System. The estimated performance period is 200 calendar days after a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. Location of the work is VA Medical Center, Robert J. Dole, Wichita, Kansas.
