The required chemical composition and size distribution for the special road salt (DS) - for the production of brine: a) chemical composition - NaCl -> 95% - S03 - <2.0% - H2O - <1.0% - potassium ferrocyanide - ≥ 20 mg / kg, - part of the water-insoluble - <3%; b) Particle size: - grains> 6.3 m - <5.0%, - grains of <1 mm - <60%. Other requirements for the salt contained in the PN-86 / C-84081/02. Transportation Road salt DR ordinary can be carried in bulk self-unloading trucks, while road salt Special Committee on pallets, packages sealed (in bags of 25 kg) regular trucks equipped with HDS. The contractor is required to apply only to such forms of transport that do not adversely affect the quality of the material, in particular its moisture.
