The laboratory diagnostic health care of the Neckar-Odenwald-clinics at the sites and houses Mosbach, each location has a fully equipped laboratory for the supply of outpatient and inpatient patients. There are carried out at both locations laboratory services of clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood group serology and molecular MRSA investigations. In addition to the own benefits the Neckar-Odenwald clinics also be powered by an external third-party laboratory (specialist laboratory). The laboratory supply and laboratory management are currently provided already by an external contractor and will now be reallocated in response to this invitation. Subject of the tender is the uninterrupted supply of the hospital's own laboratories in the fields of instrumentation, reagent and consumables, IT, POCT diagnostics (BGA, BZ) and management and supply in the "third laboratory". As a laboratory information system is LabCentre (i-Solutions) in use. The LIS uses an electronic request from the laboratory orders and results return transmission (order entry system), as KIS is also a product of i-Solutions in use. The LIS is the property of the Neckar-Odenwald-clinics, a change is not planned. Subject of the contract to be awarded is a 24-hour laboratory operations including emergency diagnostics and the organization / management of the blood bank at the sites and houses Mosbach. With the contract, the implementation of an efficient, economic and contemporary structure of laboratory diagnostic patient care is connected. The disciplinary responsibility for employees will remain here at the hospital. As part of the management emphasis is placed on laboratory medical support and consultancy services, which also relate to the issue of "targeted use of laboratory tests (power density control) in the context of patient care" and "participation in interlaboratory Commission meetings" and "external performance immunohaematological laboratories".
