UK Global Healthcare Limited (‘UGH’) and Indo UK Healthcare Private Limited (‘IUHP’) on behalf of the Indo UK Institute of Health programme (‘IUIH’) (collectively referred to as ‘the Parties’) wish to appoint a partner/partners to a panel of Cardiology suppliers which will subsequently be invited to join long term partnerships with IUHP and IUIH to supply to the eleven proposed NHS branded Indo UK Institutes of Health at various locations across India. This advert is part of a comprehensive procurement programme which will be conducted by UGH and IUHP throughout 2017 and 2018 and which will be advertised in a similar manner. It follows on from 2 earlier requirements placed for orthopaedics and radiology which are now at the contract award stage.

UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for Cardiology Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified Cardiology Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders.

This Lot includes all devices as well as associated accessories including Leads, various other accessories and the availability of programs and remote monitoring services including; Pacemakers and Cardiac Loop Recorders, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators, Heart Failure Devices (CRT-P and CRT-D and Leads and Accessories).

The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified Cardiology Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders.

This lot is to include but not be limited to Diagnostic catheters and mapping systems, Ablation Catheters and Accessories as follows:

— Ablation Catheters and Accessories,

— Ablation Generators,

— Complex Electro-Anatomical Mapping,

— Transseptal Catheterisation / Sheath Delivery Systems,

— Internal DC Cardioversion,

— Catheter sheaths and Introducers,

— Capital equipment options to support EP.

— Cardiac Stents — Bio absorbable,

— Guide wires and balloons to facilitate stent deployment.

This lot covers those Interventional Radiology products that are specific to Cardiology procedures in Interventional Radiology including but not limited to:

— PFO and ASD Closure Devices,

— LAA Closure Devices,

— Rotational Atherectomy System,

— Cutting/Scoring Balloons,

— Embolic Capture/Distal Protection Devices,

— Temporary Pacing Wires,

— Pressure Wires,

— Intravascular Ultrasound Catheters,

— Other Specialist Products.

This lot primarily covers the provision of Renal Denervation therapies.

The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified Cardiology Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. — Tissue heart valves covering porcine.

— Pericardial and stentless tissue valves.

— Associated products and accessories.

— Specialist Mitral valve repair systems.

— TAVI and Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Implantation (TPV) products and accessories.

The authority are seeking a lead provider to provide Out of Hospital Cardiology Services to patients in the City of Kingston Upon Hull. The authority is planning to undertake an open procurement process to award a 2 year contract, with the option to extend up to 2 years.

Aims and objectives of service

To provide a ‘one stop’ (same day) out of hospital cardiology service as part of a positive seamless pathway, providing diagnostic testing and where applicable; consultant support, treatment, advice and guidance, in a single visit.

This will be delivered at one or more bases, providing diagnostic services, cardiology follow up and psychological support as part of a positive seamless pathway.

Aims

— Quality out of hospital clinics to assess, diagnose and manage service users in need of non-invasive Cardiological assessment and treatment.

— Appropriate out of hospital based alternatives to in hospital care.

— Provision of a local service with reduced wait times.

— Fast equitable access for service users in an environment convenient for them.

— Quick opinions and treatment plans for referring clinicians; aiming to diagnose and refer back to the GP with detailed management plans following up only as appropriate, within 24 hours.

— Improve health outcomes through earlier diagnosis and treatment of common cardiology conditions.

— Specialist assessment, intervention and management planning.

Objectives to:

— Reduce the total patient journey time to ensure that referral to treatment is undertaken within 18 weeks.

— Reduce the number of referrals, so far as clinically appropriate, to in hospital care, maximising capacity for those that require secondary care treatment.
