Invitation for Bids 1. The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Solid Waste Management Improvement Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The State Unitary Enterprise “MAXSUSTRANS” (the “Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of (i) Lot 1 – 5,000 pcs of 4 wheel 770 liter, hot-dip galvanized waste collection bins with round lid made of metal; and (ii) Lot 2 – 8,500 pcs of 4 wheel 1100 liter, hot-dip galvanized waste collection bins with round lid made of metal. Bid for a particular lot must contain all items of the lot. Bidders are allowed to bid for one lot or combination of lots. Bid per item is not allowed and shall be rejected. 3. International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope (1S1E) bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4.
