INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT: The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Health Readiness Contracting Office (Provisional) (HRCO-(P)) (formerly the Center for Health Care Contracting), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX will conduct an Industry Day for a Patient Administration and Biostatistics Activity (PASBA) Remote Medical Coding requirement on Monday, 6 June 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Central Standard Time (CST). For interested vendors/firms, the government will conduct 30-minute, one-on-one meetings on Monday, 6 June 2016 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Both large and small business concerns are encouraged to attend Industry Day for exchange of information and networking purposes. As the facilitator, the HRCO-(P) will create a venue for government and commercial industry to exchange ideas and solutions, and discuss various acquisition-related challenges concerning MEDCOM's procurement of PASBA's Remote Medical Coding for enterprise-wide requirements for 32 Military Treatment Facilities (MTF). INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT: The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Health Readiness Contracting Office (Provisional) (HRCO-(P)) (formerly the Center for Health Care Contracting), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX will conduct an Industry Day for a Medical Equipment Maintenance Services (MEMS) requirement on Friday, 22 January 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Central Standard Time (CST). For interested vendors/firms, the government will conduct 30-minute, one-on-one meetings on Friday, 22 January 2016 from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM. Both large and small business concerns are encouraged to attend Industry Day for exchange of information and networking purposes. As the facilitator, the HRCO-(P) will create a venue for government and commercial industry to exchange ideas and solutions, and discuss various acquisition-related challenges concerning MEDCOM’s procurement of MEMS for multiple health readiness platforms (HRPs). The discussions will include, but are not limited to: commercial acquisition terms, conditions, and best practices; cost saving efficiencies and initiatives; and commercial industry insights on performance-based solutions and commercial quality control programs. As such, industry participation is key to a successful outcome and the government requests all industry feedback (e.g., suggestions, questions, clarifications, etc.) regarding the attached MEDCOM PWS template for Medical Equipment Maintenance Services be provided not later than 15 January 2016. Vendors/firms interested in attending are limited to two (2) attendees and are required to pre-register due to limited conference space. Interested vendors/firms shall indicate if they are attending the conference only or if they are attending the conference and scheduling a 30-minute, one-on-one government meeting. Vendors/firms requesting a 30-minute, one-on-one government meeting may request a specific time on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 1:00 PM, 22 January 2016. The government requests that interested vendors/firms in the local area of Fort Sam Houston, TX be scheduled between 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM. Interested vendors/firms shall provide via email the names and point of contact information, to include telephone number and email address, of their Industry Day attendees to Mr. Michael S. Brown at michael.s.brown132.civ@mail.mil no later than 3:00 PM CST, Wednesday, 15 January 2016. On day of conference, 22 January 2016, registration will tentatively begin at 8:15 AM. The Conference will be held in the Logistics Conference Room L-48-3 in the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) located at 3551 Roger Brooke Dr., San Antonio, TX 78234. Parking will be authorized in the main parking garage. Proceed cross the bridge in the parking garage on level 3, and enter the building through the Garden Entrance. The vendors must stop at the information desk to get checked in and then proceed to the elevators and go to the lower level then follow the signs to Facility Management. Go three doors past Facility Management and off to the left is the Logistics Conference Room L-48-3. The one-on-one meetings’ location is to be determined and will be provided to vendors/firms that request a one-on-one meeting.
