The tourism industry, which belongs to the Kalmar County's key growth industries, had sales in 2014 of 3.9 billion kronor in the county, created 3352 full-time jobs (10,000 in summer) and 492 million in tax revenues 1). More than 10 million overnight stays were recorded, and the region was transferred added value profiling, increased migration, increased public services, better self-esteem, etc. Their current position consists of 10% of the county's visitors of the international guests.
