1. Object of the contract is to provide services for the Students' mentoring and Students 2 and 3 semester graduate majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications (EiT) at the Department of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, Silesian University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as Students) under the mentoring program in the project: ZKZEiT - better qualified students majoring EiT Silesian University of Technology. The service consists of guiding mentor design classes, during which students will pursue industrial design (the thematic scope of the industrial project described below), and grappling with the real problems. Because of the range of topics, the subject of the contract is divided into 16 tasks, 8 of them (odd numbered) refers to the provision of services of mentoring by industry mentors, and the remaining 8 (even-numbered) for the services of mentoring by academic mentors. Number of hours for the implementation of each project mentoring (each job) for a mentor through two semesters is a total of 60 hours of instruction, including min. 10 hours of teaching in the winter semester 2014/2015 ra and 50 hours of classes in the spring semester ra 2014 / 2015.2. The contract is for the purchase of industrial research in the field of computational fluid dynamics to optimize the construction of chemical apparatus in the framework of the project entitled "Development of utility structure of the unit energy-saving equipment for the chemical industry, in particular the production of paints and varnishes", hereinafter referred to as Project implemented under the Operational Programme intelligent Development 2014-2020, sub-measure 1.1.1.

The project concerns product innovation. As a result, the band will be developed products with significantly improved functional performance than the products currently available on the market, characterized by process optimization and production operations in terms of energy efficiency and respect for the environment.

The aim of the project is to start production significantly improved products in plants Ichemad in Gliwice and the sale of products on the Polish market, as well as for international chemical companies.

The main goals of the project:

a. Obtaining 4 design solutions to optimize the work of dissolver, mill, dispersant and egalizatora, which will bear the characteristic features, to be protected as a new utility models.

b. Achieving through new design solutions and the use of composite materials, the low energy consumption of the above. device:

- Dissolver from the baseline 9.886 kWh to 5,536 kWh target;

- Mill kuleczkowego flow from baseline of 0.31 kWh / kg of the product to the target level of 0.24 kWh / kg of the product;

- Dispersant flow from the baseline 0.023 kWh / kg of the product to the target level of 0.01 kWh / kg of the product;

- Egalizatora to homogenize the substance from baseline 0.0005 kWh / kg of the product to the target 0.00025 kWh / kg product.

c. Trituration obtain increased product particle, efficient use of resources and reduction of waste generation.
