The Water Board Company Limburg, hereinafter referred to as the WBL, the joint executive who commissioned the two Limburg Water Boards Peel en Maas Valley and Helm and Overmaas promotes concern for the quality of the surface. We do this through the Limburg domestic and industrial wastewater transported to one of our 17 wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Here the waste water is purified, after which it is discharged to surface water. The purification operation unit of the WBL providing this task. For this, the WBL has 17 wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), 6 sludge dewatering installations (STIs), several sewage pumping stations, an office building and a plant for drying sludge. When drying of the sludge in the sludge drying installation arise sludge granules (granulate) with a dry matter content greater than 90%. This tender relates to the transportation of the dried sewage sludge (granules) from the sludge dryer WBL to ENCI. The use of the material occurs two-fold: as a fuel for the large oven for the preparation of the semi-finished product (portland cement) and clinker as a raw material instead of the scarce marl and additives. During the maintenance turnarounds in the sludge dryer and the oven at ENCI is not dried sludge transported to the ENCI.
