Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, supervision tools and equipment necessary to provide new construction for improvements to Building 1050 at the Naval Air Station - Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB), Fort Worth, Texas. The work includes demolishing and removing two existing steam boilers and providing two new steam boilers; demolishing and removing gas-fired high intensity spot type infrared radiant heaters in the open bay area of the hangar and providing a new two stage, gas-fired, low intensity tube type continuous infrared radiant heating system; demolishing and removing two air compressors, refrigerant air dryer, air receiver, and all compressed air piping in the hangar and providing two new air compressors, refrigerant air dryer, air receiver, and compressed air piping; demolishing and removing one deficient door drive mechanism and replacing it with a new door drive mechanism. Work shall be completed on, or before November 17, 2016. New Kindergarten in Obrez, Serbia

W912GB-16-R-0031: This pre-solicitation notice presents the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District (USACE NAU) intent to solicit a design-build contract for the construction of a new kindergarten to provide preschool services to the children of Obrez, Serbia in preparation of primary school since the closest facility that provides introductory education is 40km away. This project will be located in the municipality of Varvarin. The building shall have 1 floor and no basement. A separate small building shall be provided to house the fuel for the Kindergarten heating system. The purpose of this project is to provide a complete and usable Kindergarten for a minimum of 25 children per group room. This facility shall be delivered as a fully functional, turnkey type facility or facilities (without furniture). The work includes but is not limited to design, demolition, fabrication, delivery, installation, construction, and site work. The facility and the installed equipment shall be permanent construction. The new kindergarten will consist of two (2) classrooms, each with a separate bathroom, a restroom for access from outside, a mechanical room, boiler room, janitor closet, bathroom for staff, and office, as well any other work directly related to the kindergarten construction included in the statement of work and specifications. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this pre-solicitation notice or any follow up information requests. No response is due at this time. This project will use a One-Phase Design-Build, Best-Value Acquisition Selection process in accordance with the United States Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15 and Part 36.3. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that the NAVFAC, MARFORRES FST intends to solicit proposals for a Design-Build construction requirement for the Joint Reserve Center (P-125) in Des Moines, IA under the Design-Build/Design Bid-Build, Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for General Construction and that is administered by the Marine Corps IPT in Norfolk, VA. A sources sought notice was posted on 3/25/2015 under solicitation N40085-15-R-6609 to determine availability and capability of small businesses to perform the requirement. Based on market research results, the procurement will be solicited under an existing Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). NAVFAC Mid-Atlantics Office of Small Business Programs concurs with the determination to solicit for a task order under a MACC. Project Description Project will construct a 46,000 SF Joint Reserve Center facility in Des Moines, Iowa for Joint Marine and Navy operations. The low-rise reinforced concrete and steel-framed building will be of permanent construction with masonry exterior walls and gypsum board interior walls, standing seam metal roof, concrete floors, and pile foundation. The Reserve Center will include a Reserve Training Building (46,000 sq. ft.) a vehicle maintenance facility (1,600 sq. ft.). The Joint Reserve Center areas include an assembly hall, classrooms, medical exam rooms, conference room, storage, crews lounge, administrative areas, recruiting office, toilets/locker room/showers, janitorial space, and mechanical equipment spaces. The Marine Corps exclusive use areas include active duty administrative offices, unit conference space, administrative space, supply/storage areas, recruiting space, armory, shops for communications equipment maintenance, multi-media/LAN control center, NEXGEN secure and equipment room, Firearm Training Simulator (FATS), training aids storage, exercise and double locker room area. Supporting facilities include fire alarm and suppression systems and exterior security lighting. The vehicle maintenance building will be a one-story steel-framed structure with concrete foundation, concrete floor, masonry walls, standing seam metal roofing, fire suppression and alarm system, high bay compartments, tool room, parts room, one office with air conditioning, heating, ventilation, electrical utilities and mechanical utilities. The procurement method to be utilized is FAR Part 15 - Source Selection, LPTA source selection procedures.
