As part of the steam conversion, lantern Varmeværk (LVV) converted to supply district heating water instead of steam. Steam conversion requires the latest 12.1.2017 can be supplied 99 MW district heating water from the lantern Heating Central, of which 50 MW can be supplied from an existing steam boiler through a steam / water exchanger, and that all 99 MW district heating water by the end of 2018 comes from new boilers.
The purpose of the project is to scrap the existing steam boilers and establish new peak and reserve load boilers lantern Heating Central, so the lantern Heating Central by steam conversion can continue to ensure security of supply by providing peak / reserve capacity for base load plants for district heating.
The contract concerns the construction contract for construction work concerning, inter alia building, debugging, casting deck, the establishment of indtransportåbninger, window replacement.
The work includes a series of refurbishment works associated with conversion of the lantern Heating Central from steam to water, including:
- Renovation of floors and other surfaces as well as replacement windows. Both with associated environmental sanitation, since the building containing PCB-containing materials.
- Concrete Work in the form of degradation of plinths, grouting superfluous openings, establishment of new openings as well as the casting of opkanter about new openings.
- Establishment of indtransportåbninger in the roof and facades.
Execution of the works must be closely coordinated with the other contractors on site, including the contractors responsible for the supply of pipes and boiler equipment.
