The Stuttgart Regional Council plans to redesign the highway maintenance Kirchheim / Teck on the A. 8
This includes the construction of two new industrial buildings (large vehicle depot and workshop), the renovation and expansion of the administrative building and a new planning of the supply technique.
The turnpike was built in 1937 - from this time are still the administrative building, a vehicle depot and the spreading material warehouse / silo obtained. In the following years, the area around another building was extended.
As part of the first phase of construction of the new salt storage building and two warehouses have already been realized.
At present, the measure is in the second phase. Here planning the implementation of large vehicle hall and 2 further warehouses has already taken place in many parts. Among other things, a separate sewer system is planned for the site. For this reason, a cistern is provided under one of the two warehouses.
The third section is currently in the approval planning. This looks to expand before the administration building and to construct the factory building and the fifth warehouse.
the operation of the highway maintenance must be maintained throughout the construction period.
The total costs under the measures currently adopted by about 5 million EUR gross (KGR 200-700 DIN 276, without the cost of land).
