The Stuttgart Regional Council plans to redesign the highway maintenance Kirchheim / Teck on the A. 8

This includes the construction of two new industrial buildings (large vehicle depot and workshop), the renovation and expansion of the administrative building and a new planning of the supply technique.

The depot Decker road is shared by the Civil Engineering Department and the Parks, Cemeteries and Forestry Office. The depot is to be reorganized and the future include additional usages of other operating units. An existing industrial buildings along the street is to get Decker (stands in the construction ban) and to redevelop. The remaining buildings are not worth preserving and are replaced by new ones, so that the space program can be realized.
