The HVAC upgrades include replacing the main air handling unit for the building, as well as the AHUs for the central stores and the LAN room, upgrading the boiler plant, replacing the chiller on the roof, and switching from pneumatic to electronic VAV boxes in the administration area. INDUSTRIAL SECURITY RELATED REQUIREMENTS At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Security Clearance as indicated in section SC01 of the Supplementary Conditions. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. Optional Site Visit An Optional site visit will be held on October 20 , 2016 at 10:00AM Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Bidders are to meet at the site, Parry Sound Canadian Coast Guard Base, 28 Waubeek St, Parry Sound, On P2A 2W9. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be givenan alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twenty four (24) weeks from the date of notification ofacceptance of the offer..
