— HMP Lindholme;

— HMP Hatfield and The Lakes.

The new service model tendered is designed to deliver:

— An integrated and coherent healthcare delivery model across the single ‘cluster’ system comprising the four prisons as aligned to both local healthcare systems and to local offender management pathways;

— A co-commissioned model to include the provision of social care for the prisoner population;

— The key strategic commissioning goals for offenders' health: to ensure services are integrated; to promote effective care pathways within the prisons (primary care) and into secondary care (hospital) and back to primary care; to secure evidence-based healthcare; to reduce health inequalities and reduce health risk factors;

— Improved provider capability and capacity, including effective and simplified contracting models with robust subcontracting and supply chain arrangements to deliver improved service quality and performance;

— Greater value for money from whole system capability and capacity, including more efficient operations underpinned by strengthened contract management arrangements; and

— Most economically advantageous tender from testing the market through a competitive process to secure new provision through contract award underpinned by a lead provider/prime contractor contracting model.

— GP/Medical Services;

— Nursing and Administration;

— Pharmacy and Medicines Management;

— Mental Health and Learning Disability;

— Substance Misuse;

— Dental;

— Optometry;

— Sexual Health;

— Therapies;

— Health Promotion and Prevention (Section 7A spec);

— IM&T/IG;

— Social Care provision.
