Approximately 1.6 million nitrile healthcare examination gloves are used annually (quantities based on 2014 usage and for guidance purposes only). Phase 1 will be used to appraise, rank and select five tenderers for shortlisting and evaluation. This phase will be weighted at 50% of the total. In phase 2 the five top scoring suppliers will be invited to provide sample product (at cost to the supplier) for internal inspection and clinical testing and evaluation.
