YPO are looking for providers to be appointed onto a Dynamic Purchasing System for the supply of Early Years Furniture and Soft Play for use within any designated area in any public building primarily schools and other educational establishment. The Dynamic Purchasing System is designed to meet the needs of all public sector organisations via YPO.
The Council is seeking tenders from Suppliers who are interested in joining our Framework for supplying Hardware and Ironmongery for Doors and Windows (locks, Hinges, door furniture, padlocks, Silcone, fixings). There will be four main Departments using the Framework on a regular basis but the Framework will be open to all Departments.

It is the Council intention throughout the period of
the contract(s) to divert waste away from landfill
and to improve the Council National Indicator
‘NI192’ performance.The Council intend to award
Contract(s) for the receiving, keeping, recycling
and treating to one or more successful tenderer(s)
20,000 tonnes of green waste delivered to the tenderer’s premises or collected from the council’s transfer loading stations.
5,500 tonnes of wood waste (Wood Waste, consisting of: household furniture, doors, wood off-cuts, mdf, ply-board, pallets, window frames, fencing and chipboard) delivered to the tenderer’s premises or collected from the council’s transfer loading stations.
5,500 tonnes of sweepings (litter, soil, kerbside silt, grass cuttings, weeds and leaves) delivered to the tenderer’s premises or collected from the council’s transfer loading stations.
The proposed improvement of Kirkgate is one of the final elements of the existing programme of strategic enhancements to the city centre public realm, which over the last five years has already included Darley Street, Heritage Streets phase 1, City Park, Heritage Streets phase 2 and the recently completed Market Street.
The scheme, together with improved linkage between Bradford Interchange and Forster Square stations, will be funded by the Regional Growth Fund for construction during 2014, and will allow these city centre public realm projects to be implemented in advance of completion of the Westfield Broadway shopping centre.
NATURE OF CONTRACT
The Kirkgate proposal is to improve the environment, quality and greening of the street along its length adjacent to the shopping centre and create a new Kirkgate Square at its high profile junction with Darley Street.
The materials to be used will be high quality stone flags and porphyry setts for the paving/shared surface works, granite walls for raised planters located around the Kirkgate/Darley Street junction and high quality street furniture to match the existing palette of materials installed on the other public realm works outlined above.

CONTRACT VALUE AND LENGTH
The estimated value of the contract, excluding VAT, is £1,000,000 over the initial contract period. This is an indicative amount for information only and no guarantee of future contract value should be assumed.
The contract will run from 05/05/2014 for 6 months with no option to extend further due to the implementation of CBMDC Christmas embargo 2014.
