70133 — Outdoor Furniture for Schools and Centres within the Education Authority for the period May 2016 to 30.4.2019. The tender is for the supply, delivery and setting in place of Outdoor Furniture, primarily items made from recycled materials. Tenderers must offer an ‘assembly’ service but for the most part the Authority's Grounds Maintenance teams will be engaged by schools to do this work and prepare any surfaces.
Tender for the Supply and Installation of Office Furniture at New Grade A Office Accommodation (T1643)
Belfast City Council has commissioned the construction of a new Grade A office building to be located at 9-21 Adelaide Street behind the City Hall in Belfast.
The 100 000 ft² building is due to be completed in November 2016 and up to 700 staff will then take occupancy on a phased basis with all staff decanted into the building by end of March 2017.
To coincide with the opening of the new building BCC wish to acquire furniture through a tendering process for open plan offices, formal and informal meeting rooms and ‘soft’ areas.
— Lot 1 — T1643(A) Office furniture to include desk, desk task chairs, pedestals and storage units. Furniture mainly required for floors 2-8 (ITT Ref 31165).
— Lot 2 — T1643(B) Meeting and Training room tables and chairs — furniture mainly required for floor 1 plus enclosed rooms on floors 2-8 (ITT Ref 31166).
— Lot 3 — T1643(C) Casual tables and chairs and Tea point tables and chairs — furniture required on all floors (ITT Ref 31177).
Queen's University Belfast (hereafter referred to as ‘the University’ or ‘QUB’) wishes to appoint a competent contractor(s) for the supply, delivery and installation of office furniture to the Main Site Tower, the Maths and Physics Teaching Centre and the School of Computer Science. The School of Computer Science is located within the Bernard Crossland Building and within 14 and 16 Malone Road.
These building refurbishment projects are due for completion between April and July 2016 and are located on the main Queen's University Campus as indicated on the accompanying Location Plans. The furniture is intended to be stylish and modern in design and for use within office, meeting, lounge and café areas in each of the completed projects.
The tender is divided into the following lots:
Lot A — soft furniture — this lot relates to seating and will apply to each of the sites above.
Lot B — hard furniture — this lot relates to tables, shelving and storage units and will apply to each of the sites above.
Lot C — furniture for 14 and 16 Malone Road — this lot relates to seating and desks for Computer Science located at 14 and 16 Malone Road.
Applicants are invited to tender for lot A, lot B and lot C or any combination. Lots will be evaluated independently and the University reserves the right to award each lot separately.
