Invitation for Bids 1. The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Agence Franҫaise de Développement (AFD) and a grant from the Government of Australia towards the cost of the Rural Roads Improvement Project II. Part of this loan will be used for payments of the above mentioned civil works contract package of the project. The eligibility rules and procedures of ADB will govern the bidding process 2. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible sources described in the Bidding Document. 3. The Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) of the Kingdom of Cambodia (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and performance-based maintenance of above-mentioned package (the works).The works is to improve 193.9 km of rural roads in Tbong Khmum Province including earthworks, replacement or new construction of drainage structures, pavement with double bituminous surface treatment (DBST), road furniture and UXO clearance etc. The total contract period of the works is 66 months comprising 30 months of construction and 36 months of performance-based maintenance for the project roads. 4.
