Cork Education and Training Board is seeking tenders for the supply, delivery and installation of Loose Furniture for a new Stand Alone extension currently under construction at Coláiste an Chraoibhín, Duntahane Road, Fermoy, Co. Cork.
Coláiste an Chraoibhín is a co-educational school which opened in 1986 to cater for 350 students.  The school is undergoing significant growth at the moment and this 3,800 square metre extension will allow us to cater for 850 students.  The extension comprises of a Special Education Unit, extensive sport facilities, a suite of practical rooms, as well as general classrooms.
The Tender is divided into the following lots:

	Lot 2:	Teacher, Staffroom and Office Furniture
	Lot 3:	Customised Desks, Benches and Presses
	Lot 4:	Whiteboards, Display Boards and Pin Boards (incl. installation)

Tenders must be delivered to the postal address below.  Tenders delivered by hand or post must be delivered in sealed package(s).  The package must be marked with the RFT Title and the word “Confidential”.  Tenderers must clearly set out a return address on the Tender package.   Tenders submitted by fax will NOT be accepted. The Department of Nursing at Waterford Institute of Technology, the only centre for third level nursing education and health related research in the south east of Ireland providing undergraduate programmes preparing students for registration with An Bord Altranais (the Nursing Board) in general, psychiatric and intellectual disability nursing. As a result of increasing demands on health care services and changes in health care delivery through, for example, new health care technologies and an emphasis on new community services we are expanding our simulation and medical equipment to enhance nurse training at the facility. New 6 floor over basement 31 unit residential development at Johns Lane West, Dublin 8. The residential development will have a BER A3 rating, approximate gross internal floor area of 2,700m² and GSA of approximately 4,300m²
The development will consist of 31 apartments and include for the loose furniture fittings and equipment fit-out of these apartments. Apartments will be a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bed with access to internal landscaped courtyards, roof gardens, children's play areas and individual external balconies. The final design intent is to have an A3 BER rating of the development and there will be a number of sustainability measures incorporated into the design to achieve this.
The structure of the development will be an RC concrete basement and podium slab with the upper floors of the development being constructed in a mix of RC/steelwork frame with pre-cast concrete floor and roof slabs.
The project will be built on a brown-field site which has been cleared as part of an enabling works contract completed in late 2016. There are archaeological planning conditions attached to the planning which will necessitate monitoring of the groundworks by a DCC approved archaeologist. These works will require attendances to be provided by the main contractor.
The project is located and to be constructed on a severely sloped site in the city centre and adjacent to a number of occupied buildings. The final construction will share a party wall with an adjoining occupied office building.
The mechanical and electrical installations will include sustainability measures such as PV solar energy systems, LED lighting and SUDS measures. There will be a green roof design to the main roof and some of the internal landscaped courtyards to comply with planning conditions.
It is the intention of the contracting authority that speciailsts sub-contracts will be required for the glazing, stone cladding, mechanical, electrical, and lift installations.
