1. The contractor will be required to provide periodic testing and inspection of portable fire extinguishers as required by the BS5306 3:2009 (latest current edition) and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Services. Please see appendix B for Periodic Inspection, Test and Maintenance of Water, Water based and Foam Fire Extinguishers checks which must be carried out on each Portable Fire Extinguishers listed in appendix A.
