As part of the program PASS Overijssel Province are in the Natura 2000 areas Salland Hillside, Borkeld and Springendal terrain measures implemented to reduce the impact of nitrogen deposition. These grounds measures consist substantially of the removal of (forest), storage and the removal of the litter and humus layer of div. plots woodland and heathland, milling stumps and additional work.
