The Service will help users to understand complex information and support with the completion of forms where needed. The Service will work closely with appropriate agencies to make and accept referrals so that the independence of vulnerable Service users is supported and protected. The Hoveton Wetlands Restoration project aims to deliver the restoration of Hoveton Great Broad and Hudson’s Bay. This will be achieved through a combination of sediment removal and biomanipulation, restoring them to Favourable Condition / Good Ecological Status. This project is part of Bringing the Bure back to LIFE (LIFE14 NAT/UK/000054) which is financially supported by LIFE, a financial instrument of the European Community. It is also supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Pre-Procurement Market Engagement The purpose of the Council’s pre-procurement market engagement process is to allow and enable potentially interested organisations with appropriate expertise and relevant experience to: • Outline and comment on the initial desired outcome and use of an outcome based commissioning model • Gather further information on the Councils current intentions / challenges • Offer insight into current developments in the market • Explain additional opportunities to be explored for the proposed service Dacorum Borough Council will consider all feedback provided to help inform further decision making. This stage of the project is not part of the formal procurement process and therefore is not confirmation of the Councils commitment to carrying out such a process. The Manchester College is seeking to appoint a contractor who can provide a reliable, efficient, auditable and cost effective waste collection, disposal and recycling service which complies with all current legislation and all legislation currently published in statute but not yet in force. The contractor appointed will also provide the necessary management information including uplift details, the weights of waste to landfill and recycling and make recommendations on how the existing arrangements can be improved, including further cost savings achieved.

The Manchester College current contract for the provision of waste collection, disposal and recycling expires on April 2016. Proposals for the new contract for the collection of all College waste from multiple sites are now being sought. This contract will commence on July 1st 2016 for the period identified.
