Financial Literacy and Resilience - Financial Resilience Workers/Counsellor

The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services is seeking to engage suitably qualified supplier for the provision of financial workers/counsellors.

Financial resilience services will have an early intervention focus, assisting people to address their financial problems before they reach crisis point.
Financial resilience workers will build people’s capacity to understand their financial situation and the ways in which credit works, assist them to develop and maintain budgets, undertake straightforward negotiations with creditors, link people with specialist support services (e.g. gambling help, drug and alcohol services) and assist them to access low cost financial products such as no interest loans.
Qualified financial counsellors are able to assist people with more complex and entrenched financial problems to resolve those issues.

Project Online Solution

Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Project Online Solution - 510592

Brisbane City Council is seeking a solution, including professional services, to replace Council’s project management tool (Project Insite) with a cloud based solution.

The deliverables of this RFP include:

  • Professional services for the migration of data and configuration from an on-premise Project Server 2013 implementation into Project Online, leveraging Council’s Office 365 tenant and licenses.
  • The design and implementation of a reporting solution, including:
    • support for a broadly similar feature-set to Council’s existing on premise project management reporting solution
    • configuration of PowerBI and creation of a limited number of dashboard reports
    • exposure for reporting of all data which is stored and maintained in Project Online, as close to real-time as practical
    • transfer or recreation of existing report templates such that existing reporting outputs are maintained or enhanced
  • The design and implementation of an integration solution, including:
    • exposure for reporting of financial data sets via integration with Council’s SAP system
    • improvements to automation and timeliness of this information in comparison to the existing on-premise integration
    • the design and implementation of system improvements to address current issues being experienced by Council.
    • an ongoing technical support and maintenance service for the reporting and integration solutions with established service targets and KPIs
    • an ongoing change request and development service, through an agreed rate card and quote-per-request (i.e. Work Package). This service shall cover all aspects of the solution, including changes to Project Online, PowerBI, the reporting solution, and the integration solution

The planned timeframes for this tender are:

  • Tender released to market: 14 November 2016
  • Tender closing date: 12 December 2016
  • Evaluation complete: 27 January 2017
  • Contract commencement: 13 February 2017
