The owner of AKC Environment and Infrastructure PLLC developed the Portland Harbor data base for EPA Region 10, and is the only source with the technical expertise of the structure and design of the immense database to perform the required task within the specified timeframe. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541330 with a Small Business Size Standard of 15 Million Dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Environmental Laboratory (EL), Water Quality and Contaminants Branch (EP-W), Numerical Models for Assessment of Watershed Contaminants and Living Resources Team and the Cognitive Ecology and Ecohydraulics Team require tasks and deliverables for the development and application of predictive mathematical models to solve complex environmental challenges through multi-disciplinary integration of science and engineering. Outcomes of this research are to elucidate the ecological process issues that reduce the contamination of waterways and ground water to protect the environment, fish and wildlife. The contract will provide tasks for the Research and Development (R&D) being executed by the teams of the EP-W both at Vicksburg, MS and remote field sites as is applicable; Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) will be appointed to oversee each task. Specifications for the equipment are: • Ability to cool samples to -25°C or cooler in temperature. • Ability to heat samples to greater than 150°C in temperature. • System should interface with existing FEI Nova NanoSEM 630 SEM including ability to mount to existing stage with cables for control and temperature ran through a feed though an existing port in the SEM. • Temperature accuracy of +/- 5% or better. • Should include external controller with ability to set desired temperature and monitor real-time temperature of the stage. This cryo cold stage must be compatible with existing SEM system including chamber port configuration with preferred use of the "A" port with on the FEI Nova NanoSEM 630 SEM system that has an 88mm diameter spacing between mounting holes (see Attachment 01)." The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, Mississippi is soliciting proposals to provide: Roof Coatings for Environmental Laboratory Buildings The Contractor shall provide roof coating to alleviate leaking that is occurring in research laboratories. Roof coating shall be applied to building roofs to seal the metal roof and eliminate roof deterioration. Work in to be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
