As such, they will be expected to work towards obtaining Enabling Environment status.

Whitby Piers Refurbishment Works - Construction

The contract is to design and construction of refurbishment works to the East and West Piers in Whitby Harbour.The piers have suffered damage over the years, and the works required include repairs to the masonry blockwork including filling of voids due to material loss, the provision of new sheet pile scour protection to the EastPier, concrete repairs to the promenades, installation of flood gates at Battery Parade slipway and possiblya new footbridge to link the East Pier with the Extension Arm.
