The contract is to deliver accommodation in Moray and a care service for not less than 2 Looked after Young People. It is anticipated this number may rise to total 5 Looked after Young People who more usually will be aged between 11 and 19. However, subject to care planning and agreement of adult services, 25 years old may be the upper age. The service provider will have experience of this type of residential provision. The period of this contract will be from 1st April 2016 until 31st March 2020. There will be the opportunity to extend the contract by 2 periods of 12 months: first extension end March 2021: end of second extension end March 2022 Key Objectives: The key objective of this contract is the provision of a residential care service for young people, looked after by The Moray Council, to be cared for within Moray, and who will be actively encouraged and supported to grow and develop within a nurturing environment.

15-0031 Service for Mental Health Peer Support

This tender seeks to appoint an organisation to deliver a Peer Support Service across the Mental Health sector in Moray. The service will be provided across the multi-disciplinary teams (NHS/LA) and shared between the operational split of East and West of Moray whilst simultaneously being linked to the hospital/ward, primary care environments in addition to the community.
This new service will be for an initial period of twelve months with two further twelve month periods dependant on performance outcomes of the contract. The service will commence April 2016.
The provider will be responsible for the recruitment, management, training and development of sufficient (2-4) peer support workers to meet the support demands of Moray’s mental health service users. It is anticipated that the peer support workers would be in post no later than 1 August 2016. There are currently approximately 300 registered service users that are known to Community Care but not all of those people access services all the time.
