The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has responsibility for food, farming, environmental, fisheries, forestry and sustainability policy and the development of the rural sector in Northern Ireland. The Monitoring and Assessment team (MAT) within the Marine and Fisheries Division of DAERA has particular responsibility for protection of the marine environment. The Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs Marine and Fisheries Division, Monitoring and Assessment Team, DAERA – MAT requires a contractor to provide analysis of benthic infaunal samples. The contract is for an initial period of approximately 2 years and 2 months from date of award, (envisaged to be end of January 2017) to 31 March 2019. DAERA currently have gathered 72 samples, the successful contractor will be required to carry out the analysis and provide DAERA with the data of these samples for approval before 31 March 2017.

Historic Environment Division of Northern Ireland' is part of the DfC and is responsible for the protection of the historic environment, including monuments and buildings HED, is responsible for maintaining, protecting, conserving and enhancing State Care Monuments throughout Northern Ireland. They play a major role in defining the region’s tourism product. These assets are protected through a variety of statutory and non-statutory means. These include the protection and management of public access ensuring they are accessible and safe. HED’s aim is to maintain, protect, conserve and promote State Care Monument Sites throughout Northern Ireland for the benefit of present and future generations. Our vision is that we will have healthy and well protected sites which contributes to the social and economic wellbeing of the whole community. HED require the purchase of Nine Ride On mowers to ensure the continued management and maintenance of State Care Monument Sites throughout Northern Ireland. DfC Historic Environment Division currently use the Husqvarna Rider 316TXs 112 model to carry out grass cutting functions.

The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) provide a statistical service to the NICS and the wider public service. Within NISRA, the Research Support Unit provides an environment for researchers to analyse data and produce reports for various statistical purposes. This environment is provided and supported by the NISRA Census Office ICT Team which delivers ICT services to the RSU and Census Office, operating to industry best practices and providing appropriate levels of service availability and resilience. This document defines a requirement on behalf of the NISRA Research Support Unit. You are invited to submit a proposal for the supply and delivery of 20 high specification desktop PCs with extended warranty, and 40 monitors. It is anticipated that this Contract will commence on the date of award until the accepted delivery of all required goods, up to 25th Jan 2017.
