To provide a recycling service solution for the incinerator sewage sludge ash that is produced at two Thames Water sites in London, Beckton Sewage Treatment Works and Crossness Sewage Treatment Works.
The requirements that are to be covered by the scope of the service solution may include both planned and reactive works.
This tender is for the purchase of 2 No Rigid Vacuum Sludge Tanker Lorries and 1 No Vacuum Sludge Tanker Trailer which are utilised by NI Water's Waste-water department in the transportation of thickened sewage sludge from site to site as part of the disposal process. Transport Management Group is responsible for the provision of vehicles and mobile plant for NIW's operations.
This relates to Circle Housing's procurement for Sewage Planned Maintenance and Repairs.
The three RPs in the Eastern region all have sewage plants and pumps they maintain and repair on a planned and reactive basis. These assets have come under the ownership of the RPs over a number of years as part of stock transfers. As these assets service both Circle residents and private residents, the costs of these services are service chargeable.
