The Research Council of Norway, Division for innovation, Division for research, the Department for Research-driven Innovation, invites to an open tender contest for an agreement on the evaluation of the Centre for Research-Driven Innovation, henceforth also referred to as SFI.
SFI is the Research Council's principal system for long-term research and innovation co-operation between the Research and Development environments and the industry and commerce. The SFI scheme has been in operation for 10 years and the Research Council has from the beginning granted funding and pledges for approx. 3 300 000 000 NOK for 38 different SFI consortiums.
The Research Council now wishes to conduct an evaluation of the SFI scheme as a policy instrument. The objective of the evaluation is to examine if the SFI scheme has, up until now, complied with the paramount objectives and expectations given when the evaluation is initiated, and receive input on adaptations and alterations that could be implemented in the future, in order to provide increased goal achievements as well as increased utility value for the scheme.
