The Department of Public and built environment creates a sustainable design and maintenance of public areas and municipal buildings, but also for waste disposal, environmental licensing and supervision and enforcement and parking products. This is done through policy making, advisory, operational, project preparation, authorization and supervision and enforcement, implementation, management and maintenance in line with the wishes of the customer. Public and Built Environment is a department that works with internal and external parties to give solution fulfills its task. By further professionalization in the broadest sense of the word will the department better flesh out its challenges and responsibilities. The team takes care of the specialist input or advice for regular and complex permit applications, notifications, Spatial Physical initiatives, complaints etc. The team is composed of specialists in the fields of noise, air, external security, soil, environment, construction and engineering. The expertise within the team will also be deployed to the region. Main Duties: The duties of the Building Specialists are: • monitors requests for the presence and accuracy of basic data; • assesses applications against laws and policies and recommend accordingly; • delivers on his / her field to contribute to improving the quality of implementation and the work processes; • advises on opinions submitted and contributes to objection and appeal procedures; • prepares, sets priorities, monitors and supervises the progress of his / her work and aligns it with the coordinator of the team; • shares responsibility for sharing knowledge within the team; • advises on his / her field also to other municipalities within the RUD.
